Day 90: A day of rest

Today I never got anything off of my big list of goals, but it was filled with other things.  I got the admin things out of the way in the early morning, and worked out with Mr. Jim.  This is always enjoyable, he is an excellent teacher and I am beginning to get the terminology in my head and some of the finer points of his self defense system.  I really enjoy this and really want to see everyone get to learn from him.

I took a bit of the afternoon off and had lunch with my wife.  It has been a long week and I have not gotten home any of the nights this week before 9:30 and just needed to take some time.  We had lunch and then as we have bee talking about, we have just purchased a juicer. We are looking at adjusting our eating a little bit again to go to eating more raw and more vegetables.  The juicer is just one way of making that step - so in the next 100 days we will see how that works out.

The afternoon was about classes and a surprise birthday party and it was all fun.  I got done tonight about 8:30 and got home to a great dinner.  Can you imagine being just 10 days away from the first 100 day challenge that I have ever recorded what was going on.  I hope to improve in the way I put the information out there as I probably learn more than I am saying in these post.  But I am learning that this is a very good way of setting the example and teaching.  Maybe in the future there is more video?

Today I started off with a small bowl of oatmeal and a hardboiled egg.  The oatmeal had a little brown sugar.  Lunch was my next meal as time did not let me get a snack in and this was a bar b que salmon salad from Paladar.  It was very good.  Then in the afternoon I had a yogurt between classes and another event at the studio prior to dinner of Quorn ‘chicken’ cutlet, rice and beans, and sliced tomatoes.  If you never tried a Quorn product, I love them, they are a great meatless product.
